Here are some activities that you'll see at Camp Sunflower:

• Drag workshop - learn about the art and history of drag and watch a performer apply drag make-up and perform
• Camp Dance
• A visiting petting zoo
• Camp Talent Show
• Trans and GNC Affinity Spaces
• Writing Workshops
• Campfire Circles
• Scavenger Hunts
• Sexual health panel and discussion

Packing List

• twin sized sheets, blanket, and pillow OR sleeping bag and pillow
• bath towel
• swimming/beach towel
• swimming clothes (swimming is optional, but this is a safe space for all who are comfortable!)
• summer appropriate clothes
• undergarments
• shower shoes/flip flops
• sneakers or comfortable shoes for walking/climbing/activities
• sunscreen
• toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste)
• at least one pair of long pants and long-sleeved shirt (just in case)
• water bottle
• any medications you will need for the camp (to be kept by camp nurse)

You might also like to have:

• snacks (we will have snacks available, but feel free to bring your own if you'd like!)
• this is entirely up to you, but if getting fancy before the camp dance is your jam, you might consider bringing all your glitter, make-up, fancy clothes, and more! Be yourself! As a side note, you will not be out of place if you show up at the dance in shorts and flip flops!
